W. H. Wilmot are widely recognised as creators of the finest, hand finished gold watches and watch bracelets in the UK. Its reputation is based on professional craftsmanship, design elegance and value-for-money.

W. H. Wilmot's expertise reaches back to 1860 when the company was founded by Mr W. H. Wilmot in Spencer Street, Birmingham. It first specialised in handmade gold chains, especially Watch Alberts. In 1893 it moved to its larger premises at 62 -64 Albion Street where they are currently based. The extra space gave them the opportunity to produce ladies fancy gold watch bracelets.

A disastrous fire in 1932 resulted in the opening of a modern new factory which focused on light engineering techniques, enabling the development of special tooling and machinery. Today they are constantly updating equipment, ensuring that their designs are always produced

 
 
 

to the most sophisticated level of quality and craftsmanship possible.

W. H. Wilmot has been the manufacturers for some of the major international watch houses.

In 1999, following a request from one of its big customer Wilmot started producing watches complete with movements.

In 2001, with the experience, skills and contacts gained in those few years and after over 140 years of low profile, the WHW gold watch range was born. This growing range now includes some white gold and diamond set pieces and has over 150 point of sales over the UK.
